LESLEY WILLIAMS BRUNET

Lesley Williams Brunet has a B.A. and a M.A. from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a historian specializing in archives and oral history, currently employed as the Director of Archives at the Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas. Before coming to work for Hermann, she was the Archivist and Assistant Director of the Oral History Project at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. She began her oral history career in the Oral History and Acquisitions Office at the LBJ Presidential Library in Austin, Texas. She was executive editor of the International Journal of Oral History, newsletter editor for the Texas Oral History Association (TOHA), past president of TOHA, and has been editor of Sound Historian, a new journal published by TOHA.
