KATHLEEN CURRIE

Kathleen Currie is an oral historian and journalist. At the time of the Washington Press Club Foundation's oral history project, she was editor-in-chief at Words by Wire, a newspaper syndicate. She has also taught oral history techniques and worked as a freelance oral historian on several projects, including a project for the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. From 1982 to 1987 she worked on an oral history of the Equal Rights Amendment campaign. Her freelance articles have appeared in the Irish Times (Dublin, Ireland), Washington Monthly, Washington Weekly, L.A. Weekly, and other publications.
